Pipedrive

Pipedrive is a sales CRM built around a visual deal pipeline, sold in four per-seat plans with a 14-day free trial.

Who it suits

A good fit for

  • Small sales teams that want every open deal visible in stages
  • Teams moving deal tracking out of a shared spreadsheet
  • Businesses that will pay per seat for a dedicated sales tool

Consider something else if

  • Teams that need a free plan rather than a free trial
  • Businesses that mainly need marketing email or service ticketing in the same tool

Evidence and scope

This profile summarizes Pipedrive’s public pricing page and import documentation, checked on 4 October 2026. We have not tested Pipedrive hands-on. Our documentation-based evaluation for small teams covers fit and tradeoffs in more depth.

What the plan structure means

Pipedrive charges per seat, so the cost grows with every person who needs access. The biggest jump in capability between plans is email: full email sync with tracking and automations are listed from Growth, not Lite. If your team expects to log emails against deals automatically, price Growth rather than Lite.

Moving from a spreadsheet

The documented import accepts XLS, XLSX or CSV files with one tab per import, a header row, no more than 50,000 rows and a file under 50 MB. Clean up duplicate companies and decide your pipeline stages before importing, because the import maps your columns to Pipedrive fields and asks how to handle duplicates.
