Murf AI

Murf Studio is a browser-based text-to-speech tool for AI voiceovers. Plans are measured in voice generation time (VGT), and its help centre says all paid plans include commercial rights.

Who it suits

A good fit for

  • Creators and teams who want to write, voice and adjust narration in one browser studio
  • Projects that need many retakes of tone, speed or pronunciation, which Murf says do not consume VGT
  • Users who want commercial rights that stay valid after a subscription ends

Consider something else if

  • Anyone hoping to publish from the free trial, which has no downloads
  • Small teams that need several editors without an Enterprise plan

Evidence and scope

This profile summarizes Murf’s help centre and terms of service, checked on 6 October 2026. We have not used Murf hands-on, so we make no claim about voice quality. Plan prices were not readable without JavaScript, so confirm them on the Murf pricing page. Our AI voice tool checklist explains how to test a script before buying.

Before you decide

Paste a real script into the free trial and note how much VGT it uses, because the trial cannot download audio. Multiply by your monthly output, then pick the plan whose VGT covers it. If more than one person needs to edit projects, ask Murf about Enterprise first, since the help centre says only that plan lets you invite editors.
