Define one workflow
- Workflow name and person responsible:
- Trigger event and source app:
- Destination app, required action and fields:
- Expected monthly records and busy-month estimate:
- Acceptable delay:
- What counts as a successful completed record:
- Manual fallback if the automation fails:
Confirm the plan
- Tool and exact plan used:
- Required actions confirmed in the app directory:
- Features excluded from this plan:
- Current billing unit and official pricing source:
- Trial expiry or free-plan limitations:
- Separate connected-service charges to check:
Record comparable trials
Use the same safe sample records in each tool. Avoid customer-sensitive information during initial evaluation.
For each case, record the input, expected outcome, observed outcome, timestamp, measured billing usage, duplicate outputs and recovery steps.
- One ordinary valid record.
- A duplicate event or input.
- A record with a missing required field.
- Each branch of the workflow, if applicable.
- An unavailable destination or failed connection.
- A record after access is restored.
Mark cases that you could not safely test as unresolved. A successful ordinary record does not prove safe recovery or reliability.
Make the decision
- Required cases passed:
- Unresolved cases and responsible person:
- Measured usage for this sample:
- Typical-month and busy-month estimates, with assumptions:
- Plan and currency used for the estimate:
- Acceptable delay confirmed:
- Someone else can follow the recovery instructions:
- Cancellation, access removal and manual fallback documented:
- Decision and next review date:
